New BVB signing Ousmane Dembélé was delighted after scoring his first Bundesliga goal away to Wolfsburg and gave an interview to BVBtotal! about the match together with his interpreter Massimo Moratti.

Many congratulations, Ousmane! What was your take on the match?
We made a very good start to the game and scored the first two goals early on. That did us a lot of good, just as it did in the previous two matches we played. I'm delighted that we won.

You also scored your first Bundesliga goal, which was preceded by a loving attacking move. Tell us how you experienced the goal…
Gonzo was through against the goalkeeper but then saw that I had made the run too and teed me up brilliantly. I just had to tap the ball in.

"Perhaps we're already reaping the rewards of our hard work"

How happy are you about scoring your first-ever league goal?
I am very, very happy about the goal. I scored it for Massimo, who has had a tough time of it in recent weeks (Editor's note: Dembélé laughs and gives his interpreter a wink).

You haven't had a tough time of it on the pitch in the last few games, scoring 17 goals in the space of a week. Why are things going so well for you at the moment, especially in attack?
We simply have a fantastic group that gets on really well and has a lot of fun together. We had a very good pre-season, in which we worked hard. Perhaps we're now already reaping the rewards of that hard work. (djg)
