Given the difficulty in shutting out Madrid's offensive players, Roman Bürki will be a man in demand on Tuesday evening. And should he produce a performance similar to the one in Wolfsburg a week ago, Real's superstars could have a tough time getting the better of the Swiss shot-stopper.

Roman Bürki on Real's attacking strength:
"The level of respect is always the same, whoever the opponent. And my job is always to stop goals being scored. It doesn't really matter who is ultimately in front of you. Of course the Champions League is slightly different to the Bundesliga. On Friday, Freiburg demanded everything of us and therefore it was good preparation for the Real Madrid match."

...on the new-look defence:
"The defence already has had a few games together, both with Ginni and Marc Bartra. We understand each other very well, there are no problems with communication on the pitch. I don't expect that will be any different against Real Madrid."

...on the increased self-confidence during to the winning streak:
"We have a lot of self-confidence and can go into the game with our heads held high. We have created a lot of chances in the previous games, scoring a lot of goals and only conceding a few. We are on a run and will try to keep that going."

...on his first home game in the UEFA Champions League:
"I am delighted that we are playing at home and have Real Madrid as opponents. They are a team that you think about facing when you are a child. For me it's a case of a dream coming true and there's a real sense of anticipation."

...on BVB's previous clashes with Real:
"We have only focused on what is to come rather than talking about previous matches. It is better that way."

...on Real's bad memories of Dortmund:
"In order to reach the level of performance we want to, we shouldn't talk about previous matches. We want to show them that we are the home team and that the points should stay with us. That should be clear on the pitch."
