Joachim Löw has selected two Borussia Dortmund players – Mario Götze and Julian Weigl - to be in the 22-man squad National Team squad for the two upcoming European Championship qualifiers, the first on the 8th October in Hamburg against the Czech Republic and the second on the 11th October in Hanover against Northern Ireland.

Not part of the selection are the injured Marco Reus and André Schürrle as well as Gonzalo Castro. The latter’s exclusion is a surprise for his Manager – “I’m hugely disappointed to hear that. I was convinced that Gonzo would be selected because he has been performing so well for a long time.” (br)
