Borussia Dortmund will be making the trip to Leverkusen on Saturday (18:30 CET) without André Schürrle, Marc Bartra and Adrian Ramos. “Safety is our number one priority. Now we have to use the two weeks so we can be on the safe side against Hertha,” said Thomas Tuchel.

With a heavy heart but on rational grounds he’ll have to do without the trio, two of which are still suffering from groin complaints (Ramos, Bartra) and Schürrle suffering from knee problems. Marco Reus and Sven Bender were also unable to make the trip. “Marco was still unable to train with a ball today,” reported Thomas Tuchel. “But he is definitely ahead of Sven who is wearing a splint to rest his ankle.” (br)
