On Wednesday evening, 200 guests were invited to the "View" in the Dortmunder U for the New Year's reception of Borussia Dortmund. A child was also there celebrating their birthday.

BVB boss Hans-Joachim Watzke warmly welcomed Wolfgang Paul, the captain of the Europa cup winning team of 1966. The chairman of the council of elders celebrated his 77th birthday. And of course, Watzke welcomed the youngest member of the family: 17 year old Swede Alexander Isak.

In his address to the 200 guests present, Watzke promised: "we will play a good second half of the season and meet all our goals." (br)
