Having sustained an injury during the mid-season preparations and been restricted to appearances from the bench in the first two matches of 2017 – the 2-1 win in Bremen and the 1-1 draw in Mainz – Ousmane Dembélé will return to the starting line-up for today's home game against Rasenballsport Leipzig.

The 19-year-old, who scored BVB's last goal at Signal Iduna Park in the 1-1 draw with FC Augsburg before Christmas, is one of three changes to the team alongside Marc Bartra and Erik Durm, who are stepping in to replace Matthias Ginter and André Schürrle.

The line-up: Bürki – Piszczek, Sokratis, Bartra, Schmelzer – Weigl – Dembélé, Reus, Guerreiro, Durm – Aubameyang
The substitutes' bench: Weidenfeller, Passlack, Kagawa, Pulisic, Götze, Ginter, Schürrle (br)
