In coordination with Sportfreunde Lotte and Borussia Dortmund, the German Football Association (DFB) has rescheduled the postponed DFB Cup quarter-final match to take place on 14 March (18:30 CET, live on ARD and Sky). The last-eight tie, which was initially supposed to take place on Tuesday evening, was called off at short notice due to the adverse weather conditions in Lotte.

As the new date for the fixture is reserved for European club competitions, approval will need to be obtained from European football's governing body UEFA. Scheduling the fixture to take place at the same time as the return legs of the UEFA Champions League last-16 ties is not possible, so the final DFB Cup quarter final will kick off at the earlier time of 18:30 CET on 14 March.

Due to the quality of the playing surface in Lotte, the match will now take place in Osnabrück. The third-tier clash between SG Sonnenhof Großaspach and Sportfreunde Lotte, which was initially scheduled to take place on 15 March, will be rearranged. Once it has been rescheduled, an announcement will be made on DFB.de.
