The U19s have been dealt yet another injury blow with Jakob Bruun Larsen, currently the top-scorer in the A Junior Bundesliga on 20 goals, now ruled out for the remainder of the season after breaking the fifth metatarsal in his left foot.

The objective is for the Dane, who has already featured for the first team, to be back in action in time for pre-season preparations in the summer.

In addition to Larsen, coach Benjamin Hoffmann will be without the key duo of Dzenis Burnic (ankle) and Orel Mangala (infected wound on shinbone) when the U19s take on 1. FC Köln (kick-off 11:00 CET) in Sunday's top Bundesliga match in Brackel.

Following their excellent start to 2017, Borussia Dortmund's U17s will be brimming with confidence ahead of their derby clash with top-of-the-table Schalke 04 on Saturday (11:00 CET, Brackel).
