European champion Raphael Guerreiro, who plays for Portugal but grew up in France, had his work cut out on Monday. Not by the AS Monaco players, but by French journalists, who bombarded Borussia Dortmund's all-rounder with questions...

Raphael Guerrero on the Black and Yellows' clash with a Monaco side that are highly-regarded across Europe:
"It's true that we're playing against a very strong team. They have some very good players in attack, but perhaps you could say they have a few weaknesses in defence. Monaco are top of the table in France, we're right up there in our league – we'll have to see what happens. It's a clash between two teams that have a number of similarities. I don't know who the favourites are. I hope we can get a good result, that would be helpful for the return leg."

...on Ousmane Dembélé:
"He has settled into the team very well. We spend a lot of time together, along with Aubameyang of course. That helps him. He is still very young and he has our support. He started the season unbelievably well. He hit the ground running in terms of goals and assists. It's an absolute pleasure to play alongside him."

...on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang:
"He is a very important player for us, in the dressing room too. We're delighted he plays for us. He knows how things are at the club. We do a lot of things together. He is very important both on and off the pitch. Auba is a straightforward kind of guy. He is really, really nice."

...on the atmosphere at home games:
"There's a really incredible atmosphere here. The fans will put the Monaco players under a lot of pressure. We'll have an excellent atmosphere, and that will definitely help us. The fans are an important factor for us. They give us self-confidence. That's the reason why we tend to get better results at home than we do away."

...on the match in Munich:
"We've already put that behind us. Bayern were clearly the better team. I've never played against a team who were that good before. We're now fully focused on the game against Monaco and we want to win all our remaining matches this season." (br)
