Borussia Dortmund's U19s have reached the Final Round of the German A-Youth Championship after finishing top of the Bundesliga West. Schalke dropped points on the last day of the season, while the Black and Yellows won in Duisburg to top the division and set up a semi-final meeting with VfL Wolfsburg.

A Dzenis Burnic penalty sealed the points for BVB in Duisburg. As FC Schalke 04 were held to a 1-1 stalemate away to Wuppertaler SV, coach Benjamin Hoffmann's side claimed another Bundesliga West title.

Borussia will now face VfL Wolfsburg in the semi-finals, to be played on 9 and 15 May. The first leg will take place in Wolfsburg. Should BVB reach the final, it will take place in Dortmund on Monday 22 May.
