Borussia Dortmund still have an excellent chance of claiming third despite being held to a 1-1 draw in Augsburg. After the game, Marco Reus and Marcel Schmelzer spoke about the team's targets for the final weeks of the season. "We want to finish third in the league and bring the Cup back to Dortmund," the latter said.

Marco Reus: "It was difficult today, as Augsburg performed well on the whole. They always stuck close to us, were always right behind us. We didn't manage to play with speed or play ourselves into space. We actually wanted to win this one. But even though we only managed a 1-1 draw, it's all still in our own hands. We wanted to take a big step towards the Champions League today. Unfortunately that didn't turn out as we'd hoped it would. But we still have a game to go. We want to beat Werder Bremen at home as we have the Cup final coming up and we don't want to play in the qualifying rounds."

Marcel Schmelzer: "Augsburg were very solid defensively and they performed well overall. That said, we were still able to create chances. Unfortunately we didn't manage to take them and only have a point to show for it. We still have one game left and it's still in our own hands. That means we need to beat Werder Bremen at home. We don't want to go into the play-offs and we have a Cup final to think about as well. We want to stay in third spot in the Bundesliga and bring the DFB Cup back to Dortmund." (br)
