Only four days to go until the showpiece event! On Monday next week, Borussia Dortmund's U19s will square off against FC Bayern Munich in the Final of the German A-Youth Championship. The clash at Signal Iduna Park will kick off at 19:30 CET.

All the signs are pointing towards an excellent turnout, with ticket sales surpassing the 10,000 mark on the second day of the advance sale period! There could well be an attendance record. The previous record for a final was 22,500 spectators.

In any case, coach Benjamin Hoffmann's charges are hoping for tremendous support. They certainly deserve it. Not only have they had to deal with a change of coach during the season – title-winning coach Hannes Wolf left to become first-team boss at VfB Stuttgart – but they have also been without up to ten youth internationals due to injury at times during the course of the campaign. Yet they still managed to top the Bundesliga West. Jacob Bruun Larsen finished as top goalscorer despite only playing 17 of the 28 matches. He has been sidelined with injury for weeks.
