Borussia Dortmund will be collaborating with the streaming provider Staige (formerly Soccerwatch.tv) to provide a live internet stream of all the home games played by the BVB women's team.

From now on, all of the newly-formed women's team's home matches will be available to watch in full HD quality. All of the highlights from each game will be available to view shortly after the final whistle.

Svenja Schlenker, the head of the women's football department at Borussia Dortmund, is excited about the cooperation and expects the live broadcasts to help raise the profile of the first ever Black & Yellow women's team: ''Our players are looking forward to being able to represent Borussia Dortmund in women's football. Thanks to Staige, our fans can experience the action of every game live, even when they can't be there in the stadium. The streaming system also means the coaching staff will be given crucial opportunities to carry out analysis, while post-game follow-up will also be a valuable addition for the players.''

''We are delighted to be working with Borussia Dortmund to broadcast the women's team's home games from the Rote Erde stadium, as well as the U17 and the U19 youth teams in men's football. After our success in live streaming the youth teams' home games, we as a company are now thrilled to equip the newly-formed women's team with our broadcast system and help promote the women's game at BVB,'' says Staige managing director Jan Taube.

The women's home matches will be broadcast live on bvb.de and staige.tv. The first official friendly game of the BVB women's team - on Sunday 8 August (15:00 CET) against TSV 1860 Munich - will be the first match shown live as part of the cooperation.
