Borussia Dortmund's women’s football team maintained their unblemished record in Kreisliga A after the match against SpVg Berghofen III. After a one-sided match, BVB won 13-1 (7-0 at half time) and remains at the top of the table with a perfect record of 12 wins in 12 games. Hannah Goosmann provided a Black & Yellow milestone in the final stages with BVB’s 100th Kreisliga goal of the season. Berghofen player Yvonne Ebe also made her own mark in the history books with her goal in the second half: it was the first Kreisliga goal conceded by the Dortmund women. BVB coach Thomas Sulewski was still able to take something positive from the first goal conceded: "Now it's happened, that takes some pressure off the team.”

BVB enjoyed the first good chance of the match on the artificial pitch at the BVB Evonik football academy: After a Luisa Bergmann corner, Ana Zabell was left completely unmarked but could not direct her headed attempt well enough. An own goal by Berghofen's Rabije Nanil Hyseni gave BVB the early lead in the fifth minute. And the home side continued to dominate. Attack after attack rolled towards SpVg goalkeeper Riccarda Schlegel. Completely free in the penalty area, Carolin Kaul doubled the lead in the ninth minute, before Ann-Katrin Lau made it 3-0 about 60 seconds later with a low shot. Zabell also did well in the 16th minute: first the midfielder was crudely fouled but then she personally applied the finishing touches from the resultant free kick to make it 4-0 against a hopelessly overwhelmed Berghofen team.

The visitors could not find a way to compete against the continuous pressure from the Black & Yellows. Annika Fälker almost increased the lead to 5-0 after half an hour, but from an acute angle and at full stretch she could not quite get the ball over the line. Lau could also have scored shortly afterwards, but her shot rebounded off the post. Zabell, on the other hand, was again clinical in the 32nd minute, keeping her nerve in a direct duel with Schlegel and coolly slotting in the goal to make it 5-0. Six minutes later, Fälker increased the lead to 6-0 after a perfect assist from Lau, and Billig made it 7-0 two minutes before half time following another assist from Lau. The lead at the break was fully deserved. Borussia left Berghofen no room to breathe, played with concentration and combined delightfully in their attacks on the visitors' goal. "That was a strong and concentrated performance from us, although we could have been more clinical with our chances," Sulewski praised his team.

60 seconds after the break, Fälker also scored her second goal from close range. Shortly afterwards, the game was interrupted for several minutes because a Berghofen player was struck in the face with the ball - Get well soon! Billig made it 9-0 after the restart after an hour, before Kaul made it double figures with a beautiful direct shot two minutes later. Zabell completed her hat-trick after a solo run in the 68th minute and made it 11-0. Yvonne Ebe then made history: In the 70th minute, she scored the first goal against the BVB women's team in their brief history. Marie Gogoll scored an own goal in the 85th minute, before Hannah Goosmann, who came on as a substitute, applied the finishing touches to the 13-1 final score a minute later, also scoring the 100th Kreisliga goal this season for BVB. A few minutes before the final whistle, Marie Bräutigam, who was playing for the visitors, unfortunately twisted her ankle in a challenge - we wish her a speedy recovery as well! "The 13-1 score is deserved, we put in a dominant display," concluded Sulewski.
