The whole German nation is celebrating the Germany's 1-0 win over Argentina in the World Cup Final. Borussia Dortmund’s chief executive Hans-Joachium Watzke summed it up perfectly, “Congratulations to the team for an outstanding achievement. They have been rightly rewarded for their collective will and passion. We witnessed an exciting final from which our team finally emerged victorious.”

BVB’s sporting director Michael Zorc added his own tribute, “The title is deserved reward for a squad that improved throughout the tournament. They played the best football and, in the truest sense of the word, have shown themselves to be the best team winning so convincingly. Naturally I am especially happy for our BVB boys. Mats Hummels has had an outstanding tournament, but those that were there in reserve did their bit supporting and helping the team to the title. They embodied team spirit and full respect for that. The title echoes the huge strides German football has been making in recent years.

BVB coach Jürgen Klopp was so happy, too, “I am so proud of our lads and their fantastic achievement. It was wonderful to see them so happy, so enjoying the moment together after the final whistle. I am so looking forward to welcoming back to Dortmund our World Cup winners!”
