Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has big plans for his second year at Borussia Dortmund. In an interview, he revealed the target of “20 goals or more,” and which system he feels most comfortable with.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on…

… acclimatizing to life at BVB:
“I hope to do better in the second year as I have understood the things the coach wants me to do. The first year wasn’t bad, actually pretty good at the beginning. It was one with ups and downs. I’m looking positively to the future.”

… on his style of playing:
“It’s a matter of concentration, and something I should have started working on earlier. It’s very important to react when you lose the ball – and not sleep.”

… on the difference of playing on the wings and as a second striker:
“It’s an advantage for me when we play a 4-4-2 with two strikers as I’ve grown up playing this system. But of course, I’m willing to play anywhere and in any system. However, most comfortable I feel up front.”

… on the increasing group of Italian speaking players in the team:
“I’m happy to help Ciro. He’s new here. It’s easier to help people when you speak the same language. He’s a nice, good boy.”

… on his personal target for the season:
“I’ve now got used to the Bundesliga level and I think I can score 20 or more goals. I have a contract until 2018, and I want to show more of my skills.”

… on the time after Lewandowski’s departure:
“We lost a great player, but we’ve added two very good players in Ciro and Adrian. I think we’ve become more flexible and unpredictable. And that could turn into an advantage for us.”
