Borussia Dortmund have been thrilling football fans around the world with their attractive style of football and successful performances in the Bundesliga and UEFA Champions League. The BVB philosophy has earned immense respect and admiration from all quarters. The footballing education offered at Borussia Dortmund youth team system is based on this integrated, consistent concept to reach goals relevant to the respective age-groups, meaning it enjoys the same excellent reputation at home and abroad as Jürgen Klopp’s team. This is also evident at BVB’s Evonik soccer school, which is experiencing ever increasing demand outside Germany!

This summer, for example, BVB coaches toured the USA and held several workshops to share their expert knowledge with interested American coaches. And the third holiday soccer camp in Japan took place during the last two weeks, including a charity course near Fukushima. Also embarking on its third trip this summer was a tour of European cities onboard and in cooperation with cruise operator AIDA. Parents in particular appreciated the great mix of football training and tourism. This could also be found once again in Westendorf. The alpine resort near Kitzbühl played host to the BVB adventure week, offering not only 5 days of intensive football coaching but also a range of activities including football golf with our mascot EMMA and bike tours round the mountains.

„It is wonderful to see that we can transport our black-and-yellow football offerings around the world and that we are also able to welcome and inspire many guests from abroad here in Dortmund. Over the last two months, we had groups from China, Japan, Poland and Great Britain come to visit. They all want to see the intense football experience for themselves and really enjoy coming to Dortmund”, said Kai Kuhlmann, head of the BVB Evonik soccer school.
