The online ticket shop is getting a new design.

Borussia Dortmund's online ticket shop, which has become a little bit outdated, used to be an appropriate tool, but it will become more user-friendly in the future and it will fit the design of BVB's homepage. "Our focus was to ensure that the fans could navigate in the same way with every device. No matter if this device is a PC, tablet or smartphone, our aim is to create a single way to purchase tickets in the future" said Matthias Narversnik, BVB's ticketing manager.

While redesigning the website, Naversnik was primarily focused on a different structure: "The fans should find quickly and easily all the relevant information. The shop should look attractive and not be overloaded with information. We hope that were successful in achieving this.

"The new design of the online ticket shop will be available right at the start of the ticket pre-sale for the German Cup game against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, at 8:30 CET this monday.

Technically "up-to-date"

The new online shop is designed in a relevant way and can therefore be used on every device. It doesn't matter if you are using a smartphone or a tablet, tickets for all competitions can now be purchased through every system.

"The increasing use of mobile devices made the redesigning of our online shop unavoidable." stated David Görges, BVB's head of new media. "Most people access BVB's digital services with their smartphone or tablet and they are the ones we wanted to take into consideration".

The new design was developed with an agency from Dortmund.
