BVB will be away to SC Freiburg at 15:30 CET on Saturday. Approximately 4,000 BVB fans from Dortmund will support BVB at the Europa-Park-Stadion in Freiburg. We have compiled the most important information for all travelling BVB fans below.


Travel by car:

  • There are unfortunately no parking options directly at the stadium for away fans who travel by car. Various Park & Ride facilities or parking spaces on the neighbouring exhibition grounds can be used.
  • You will find further info on parking spaces for cars here.

Travel by bus:

  • Away buses can park at the away bus parking lot in the direct vicinity of the away entrance – E4. The parking fee is €20.
  • Entrance is via Granadaallee. Please follow the signs for P1-P4.
  • BVB fans who travel with nine-seaters should please contact our fan representatives in advance.

Travel by train:

  • On matchdays, there is a special tram line to the stadium in the direction of Messe. The trams will take you directly to the "Europa-Park-Stadion" stop.
  • In addition to the tram, you can also get to the stadium via S-Bahn from the entire network. From the main station, for example, it is only three minutes to the "FR Messe/Universität" stop near the stadium.
  • The stadium can be reached on foot in around 10 minutes from the "Europa-Park-Stadion" stop. The route from the "FR Messe/Universität" stop takes just as long.


  • The stadium opens at 13:30 CET.
  • The away entrance is located at entrance E4.

Permitted fan paraphernalia:

  • Small flags with a pole length of up to 2m and empty plastic tubing
  • Swivel flags with telescope poles of 2m or more in length
  • Drums (visible interior and open on one side, including one pair of drum sticks per drum)
  • Megaphone (including one set of replacement batteries)
  • Double-holders with a pole length of up to 2m and empty plastic tubing
  • Fence flags
    • Flags may be hung on the fence directly in front of the block and above the standing area in the upper tier provided that space is available. 
    • The emergency exits must remain unobstructed for the entire match.
    • Banners and choreographies must be registered at least seven days before the match.

Forbidden fan paraphernalia:

  • Pyrotechnics of any kind
  • Confetti, balloons and streamers

Permitted items:

  • Small umbrellas (foldable)
  • Digital cameras
  • Belt bags and bags up to DIN A3 size
  • Tetrapaks up to 0.5 litres (alcohol-free)

Further info on admission:

  • At the away entrance, there is only a very limited possibility to deposit bags and rucksacks.
  • Material inspections will take place to the right of the entrance in a separate, visible area. It is therefore recommended that you leave your luggage on the bus or in the car or, if necessary, rent a locker at the station.
  • It is only permitted to enter the away sector wearing neutral clothing or clothing in the colours of the away team! The same applies to away fan paraphernalia.


  • Blocks N6 and N7 (standing) and blocks N5 and N15-17 (seated) are available to BVB fans.
  • You can pay with both cash and EC card at the stadium.
  • Persons who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs may be refused entry and/or banned from entering the stadium if conspicuous and/or security-relevant behaviour can be observed or if such a ban is necessary for protective reasons.
  • There is a smoking ban in all seated areas. Smoking is tolerated in the standing areas. Smoking is permitted in the stadium concourse by the kiosks.
  • SC Freiburg have introduced the "Fuchsbau" concept to combat sexual violence at the stadium this season. You will find all the info on that here:



Info on a barrier-free stadium visit

  • Wheelchair users can park at the away bus parking lot after a prior registration with the fan representatives.
  • Access to the stadium is also possible via the entrance E4.
