Borussia Dortmund travel to Anfield on Sunday, 10 August to take on FC Liverpool. For many of our fans, this match is more than just a preseason friendly, with more than 1,200 tickets for the visiting end having been sold. The game is said to be a sell-out, and there will be no tickets available on matchday for visiting fans. BVB’s fans’ representative at Anfield will be Daniel Lörcher. Due to heavy construction work in the area, some roads around Anfield Stadium will be closed.

Please remember that it is not allowed in England to bring items such as fence banners into the stadium, as is customary in Germany. However, since this is a friendly match, there haven’t been any requests to bring items such as flags or drums to the game.

There are some road closures around the stadium due to construction (though this only affects the home fans). Here’s a map of the area with access arrangements:

We look forward to the trip to Anfield Stadium and wish our travelling fans a safe trip and a good time.
