The "Borussia Dortmund Romania Fan Club" celebrated its 10th anniversary with the Christmas Cup in Bucharest last weekend.   The fan club had planned a big party for Friday evening, but before it started, the fan club were given exclusive access to training. The 75 members present cheered the players loudly, took photos and got an autograph or two. After training, BVB head coach Edin Terzić came to the stand for a personal meet & greet with the fan club. All of the fan club members were delighted about the personal visit, and moved on to the party location in high spirits.

The fan club had reserved an exclusive area in the "Gambrinus Bar", a former brewery, with food and drinks on offer. Of course, fan representatives Sandra Brinkhaus, Benedikt Watermeier and Nicole Möller were also on site. The highlight of the evening came at around 21:00, when Karim Adeyemi stopped by. He gave autographs, posed for selfies and talked with the members of the fan club. And BVB managing director Carsten Cramer also dropped in to greet the fan club. On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the fan club, he gave them a BVB kit and a certificate commemorating the anniversary of the fan club. Another guest of honour was Marcel Răducanu, a former Romanian BVB player, and the fan club members were delighted to see him.

Only around midnight did the fan representatives say goodbye and thank everyone involved for a very successful evening.

The "Borussia Dortmund Romania Fan Club" officially has about 130 members and, despite the great distance from Dortmund, they attend BVB home games several times a year. We would like to wish the fan club all the best and hope that they will remain loyal to BVB for a long time to come.
