Marco Reus sent off unfairly, Ousmane Dembélé suffered severe bruising. Borussia Dortmund did not only lose two valuable points on Friday when they drew TSG Hoffenheim 2-2, but they also lost two very important players. However not both of them will be missing against FC Augsburg.

„Ousmane joined in training today, and the way it looks today he will  be able to play tomorrow", Thomas Tuchel said on Monday lunchtime. It looks like the Head Coach will also have Gonzalo Castro (bruised ribs) and Erik Durm (back complaint) available. However Raphael Guerreiro will still be missing: "he is doing individual training due to his muscle problems." Tuchel hopes that the Portuguese player will be fit and report back to training when training starts back again on the 3.January.

„This is where my patience is stretched to the limit“

The situation involving Reus and his unjustified yellow-red card and the suspension this brings with it very much concerns the Head Coach. He put in a very strong appeal demanding more justice: "It just adds insult to injury when we lose a player who has not committed any offense as can be proven, when we then have to play with one man down for over 50 minutes and when we then don't just miss having this player in the team in Hoffenheim, but he remains suspended." This ruling that protects the referee, but which has the complete opposite affect, has "something absurd about it" according to Tuchel. '"This is where my patience really gets stretched to the limit, which is not to say that I am not understadning about the situation."
