Kehl returns to training - Gündogan and Piszczek make progress
Borussia Dortmund emerged unscathed from their hard-fought 2-1 win at Arsenal on Tuesday night. "We are just tired from the game and the trip, but otherwise fine," said BVB coach Jürgen Klopp on Thursday, adding, "And I hope that the weather stays like it is now and none of my players catch a cold."
And there´s more good news. According to Klopp, the long-term injured Ilkay Gündogan and Lukasz Piszczek are both making good progress in their recovery." The Dortmund coach said: "Both are doing much better, and there is reason for optimism that it won´t take much longer. They are able to run large volumes at high speed. Both are on a good way and also have begun training with the ball again."
And Sebastian Kehl´s return is just days away. On Wednesday, the Borussia Dortmund skipper was back on the training ground for the first time since suffering an ankle injury (Klopp: "He took part in two of four games"), with his full return to training expected to take place after Saturday´s Revierderby.
