International fixtures
14 Black & Yellows called up by their countries
With 11 rounds played, the Bundesliga is set to pause for the third international break of the season. Fourteen players from the Borussia Dortmund senior squad have been called up by their countries to take part in the international fixtures in November.
Farewell match for Piszczek
Following the World Cup in Russia last summer, Lukasz Piszczek called time on his international career. But he will now have the chance to bid farewell to the Polish national team as he makes one final appearance for his country at home to Slovenia in a European Championship qualifier on 19 November.
Reus withdraws from international duty
Marco Reus is continuing to experience problems with his ankle. As a result, he has informed Joachim Löw that he will not be linking up with the national team and will instead remain in Dortmund to work on his recovery with the medical department at BVB.
It remains to be seen whether all of the players who received call-ups will actually link up with their national teams.
