The Borussia Dortmund U19s have once again qualified for the final of the German A-Junior Championship. Benjamin Hoffmann's charges won a hard-fought semi-final second leg 2-0 against Schalke 04 in front of 6,709 fans at Stadion Rote Erde and will now face VfB Stuttgart, who beat VfL Wolfsburg on penalties, in Großaspach on 2 June.

In what was an intense derby, a Tobias Raschl penalty in the 43rd minute and a spectacular free-kick from Enrique Pena Zauner 13 minutes into the second half were enough to secure the win for BVB, who passionately defended their lead in the closing stages thanks in part to some spectacular saves from goalkeeper Luc Hawryluk. (wiwi)
