Dong-Won Ji, who has won 26 caps for South Korea, will play the second half of the season for Bundesliga rivals FC Augsburg who only a few days ago signed the 6’2’’ (1.87m) striker on a six-month loan deal from FC Sunderland. Ji already played 17 games (five goals) for FCA during the second half of last season and his five goals helped them avoid relegation.

“Dong-Won Ji is a player who can play in a variety of positions in attack. We are pleased to have signed this talented player for next season on a free transfer,” said BVB sporting director Michael Zorc.
