Borussia Dortmund have signed Tim Väyrynen for the club’s third-division Under-23 side. The 20-year-old Finn has committed himself to BVB until 2016.

The 6’ 3’’ (1.91m) striker finished runner-up with FC Honka in Finland’s first division last season and became the league’s top goal scorer with 17 goals (24 games). David Wagner, BVB’s reserve side coach, said: “He is a highly talented player with great prospects!” His fine performances have already earned Väyrynen, who signed a contract through to 2016, a call-up to the Finland squad. He made his full international debut in a 4-2 defeat to Mexico in October 2013.
