Borussia Dortmund will face Atalanta in the last 32 of the UEFA Europa League. The first leg, to be played at Signal Iduna Park, will take place on 15 February 2018, with the teams locking horns again a week later for the second leg at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d'Italia in Bergamo.

World Cup runner-up Eric Abidal, the Ambassador for the final in Lyon (16 May 2018), conducted the draw which pitted Borussia Dortmund against last season's fourth-placed side in Serie A for the first time. The Lombardy-based outfit have never been champions of Italy.

The advanced sale for the first leg on 15 February at Signal Iduna Park will begin in the second week of 2018. Season ticket holders with the options "international" and "maximal" will also be informed about the release and debiting process in the second calendar week.

The draw for the round of 16, to be played on 8 and 15 March, will take place on 23 February 2018. (br)
