Three days later on the 18. July the Black Yellows will face the Italian traditional club AC Milan in the South Chinese Metropolis Guangzhou. This game is part of the International Champions Cup that BVB has been invited to take part in just as last year.

Carsten Cramer, the BVB Director for Sales and Marketing said: „we are happy to be guests in Asia again this year. We look back on our past visits with fond memories and we know: we will meet many real true and extremely loyal BVB fans in Japan and also in China. In conjunction with our longterm partners Evonik and Puma it is our aim to excite them with the performances of our team and also with the appearances of our players.“ And to add to that, Hans-Joachim Watzke, the BVB CEO noted: „the fact that the J. League and the organisers of the ICC have chosen us for their events shows the high standing BVB has achieved throughout the world of sports in the past few years.“
