The Borussia Dortmund's women's football team ran out 5-0 (4-0) winners against VfL Bochum II in their final home game of the Landesliga season. Marjana Naceva scored a brace.

As UEFA have already moved into the Rote Erde stadium for the upcoming EURO tournament, the BVB women had to relocate to the BVB Evonik Football Academy in Rabenloh for their last home game of the season. However, the 363 spectators were treated to a familiar sight, as the Black & Yellows dominated what proved to be a one-sided encounter. The first goal of the day was scored by Marjana Naceva, who headed a pinpoint cross from Marah Tayeh into the back of the net to open up a 1-0 lead in the 13th minute.

Further goals followed almost every ten minutes: Merle Greulich got on the end of a delivery from Marie Grothe to score Borussia's second goal (22). Naceva capitalised on a rebound off the crossbar after a shot from Marie Grothe to grab her brace and make it 3-0 for the Landesliga champions (31). Grothe got her name on the scoresheet in the 40th minute when she tapped in Mandy Reinhardt's deflected effort to make it 4-0 (40'). "After the reverse fixture, we wanted to find solutions earlier and score goals sooner. We did that very well and scored some nice ones," said coach Thomas Sulewski.

Lisa Gomulka then scored the best goal of the day at the start of the second half. After a solo run, she drilled the ball into the top left-hand corner of the goal from just approximately 25 metres out (50). Sulewski made five changes shortly afterwards and BVB then lost momentum somewhat. There were further scoring opportunities, but the sixth goal was not to be. "Nevertheless, I'm very happy with the game and the result," summarised Sulewski.

The Black & Yellows, who will compete in the Westfalenliga next season, will travel to face the second string of SpVg Berghofen next Sunday (26 May) to round off the season. Kick-off at the Berghofen sports ground is at 12:45 CEST.

BVB women: Schröer (56, Kölmel) – Tayeh, Becker, Haslsteiner, Glänzer (56, Klemann) – Gomulka (56, Herper) – Naceva (56, Kuhl), Grothe, Tan, Greulich – Reinhardt (56, Kaul)

Goals: 1-0 Naceva (13), 2-0 Greulich (22), 3-0 Naceva (31), 4-0 Grothe (40), 5-0 Gomulka (50)
