Before the season start of the 3. Liga season, BVB can announce another new signing for the U23s, as Ole Pohlmann joins Dortmund from VfL Wolfsburg. The 20-year-old winger signed a contract on Tuesday and then immediately began training with the team as they are currently preparing for the away match at FSV Zwickau on Saturday.

In the summer of 2015, Pohlmann moved from the Hannover 96 youth team to the VfL Wolfsburg youth performance centre. There, he played for all the youth teams, most recently for the Wolfsburg U23s in the Regionalliga North. Last season, which was suspended in early November, Pohlmann played eight games for the U23s, scoring one goal.

The former German youth international scored 26 times in 89 games for the VfL U17s and U19s. "Ole is a flexible attacker with great potential. He will help us right away," said team manager Ingo Preuß, who is pleased about the sixth new signing for the coming season. Both clubs agreed not to disclose the terms of the deal.
