Borussia Dortmund's U19 side go into the last matchday of the season as league leaders with 54 points. Saturday afternoon will see them face MSV Duisburg at the BVB youth performance centre in Brackel, with kick-off scheduled for 13:00 CET. In close pursuit of the league leaders and hoping for a slip-up on their part are 1. FC Köln (53 points, home match against Bayer Leverkusen) and FC Schalke 04 (53 points, away match against VfL Bochum). The teams finishing first and second in the western Regionalliga will progress to the final stage of the German Championship, which will get underway next Wednesday.

''We know that we need to put in a top performance and show a top mentality,'' said BVB coach Benjamin Hoffman. With the exception of young German national team keeper Luca Unbehauen, who is out injured, Hoffman will have the full U19 squad at his disposal. The coach sent out the following message to the black and yellow faithful: ''Anybody who can't make it to Signal Iduna Park on Saturday afternoon should come to Brackel instead. The team needs the support of the crowd - it's something they've earned over the course of the season.''
