Daniel Siebert, a teacher from Berlin who turns 34 tomorrow, will oversee Saturday's Bundesliga match between Borussia Dortmund and Mainz. Lasse Koslowski and Jan Seidel will be the linesmen, while Rafael Foltyn will be the fourth official.

Daniel Siebert made his refereeing debut in the Bundesliga on 1 September 2012, when he took charge of the match between Schalke 04 and FC Augsburg. The 1.91 metre-tall man from Berlin, who includes sport and travel among his interests, has been a FIFA official since 2014. He is seen as a very calm referee.

He refereed BVB for the first time on 12 September 2015, in a 4-2 win at Hannover. In total, he has overseen eight league matches involving the Black & Yellows (six wins, one draw and one defeat). He last refereed Borussia when they drew 2-2 at home to Freiburg on 27 January. (br)
