This weekend, on the third Sunday of Advent, Signal Iduna Park will be packed to the rafters for the largest Christmas Carol singing event in Germany. We have put together a few important pieces of information to help ensure that everything runs smoothly for all those in attendance on 15 December.

Tickets

Well over 65,000 tickets have been sold in advance. The ticket box offices will therefore be closed on the day of the event.

Schedule

The stadium doors will open at 14:30 CET. The event will begin at 16:30 CET and end at around 18:20 CET.

Getting to the stadium

Parking zones A, C, D, E and M (all subject to charge) will be open. Public transport (bus, U-Bahn) will be the same as for Bundesliga home games, meaning that the S-Bahn stop "Stadion" will be in operation and additional carriages/buses will be made available on the busiest routes. The "Uni-Shuttle" will also run, but not the additional bus which runs for BVB games and which usually departs from Westfalenhallen (formerly "Löschteich") and terminates at Aplerbeck. Please also note that the German rail service (DB) are unable to send additional trains to "Signal Iduna Park" station. We recommend arriving by 15:00 CET in order to be seated in good time for the start of the event.

Bag policy

Larger bags and backpacks may not be taken into the stadium. The same applies to prams, baby carriers ("Maxi Cosi") and walking frames. Blocks 3 and 6 are the only areas of the stadium reserved for wheelchairs.

Stadium rules

Only children aged seven and over are allowed to enter to the standing area!
