The current Bundesliga leaders will begin their preparations for the second half of the season with a series of performance tests on Friday.

Head coach Lucien Favre's charges will be divided into groups and put through a range of tests between 8:00 CET and 18:00 CET, with athletics coach Andreas Beck overseeing the whole process at the Hohenbuschei training ground.

The following day, the BVB contingent will fly out to their training camp in Marbella, Spain, at 10:00 CET. There they will face domestic rivals Fortuna Düsseldorf on 7 January (16:00 CET), before taking on Dutch top-flight outfit Feyenoord on 11 January (17:00 CET). Both games can be watched either via live stream on BVB TV or on SPORT1.

Their return is pencilled in for late afternoon on 12 January. A week later, on 19 January, the Bundesliga league leaders will resume their domestic campaign away to Rasenballsport Leipzig.
