The German Football League has set the times and dates of the first six matchdays of the 55th Bundesliga season. Borussia Dortmund have two home games early on Saturday evenings (18:30 CET) and will play host to 1. FC Köln on a Sunday.

BVB will kick off the new campaign with a trip to VfL Wolfsburg on Saturday 19 August (15:30 CET). The first home game comes a week later against Hertha BSC (18:30 CET).

Several new kick-off times are being introduced for the coming season. The match that was previously held at 17:30 CET will now be played at 18:00 CET on Sundays, while the Tuesday and Wednesday games will start at 18:30 CET (one match per day) and 20:30 CET respectively.

The DFL is expected to announce the next fixture times and dates at the end of August or the start of September. (br)
