The parcel service provider GLS Germany have been a Champion Partner of Borussia Dortmund since July 2021 and are therefore also BVB's official logistics partner. Since the beginning of the current season, GLS have had a visible presence at BVB with their logo and brand messages. Most notable in this regard are BVB's appearances in the UEFA Champions League and the DFB-Pokal: in these competitions, the logistics provider's logo is displayed on the sleeves of the reigning cup winners' shirts. GLS are also visible on the sleeves of the newly-founded women's team.

Dr Karl Pfaff, chairman of the GLS Germany board of management, highlights the company's similarities with BVB: "Like no other German club, BVB embodies our self-image as an ambitious 'challenger', but also as an organisation which draws in fans from across the world. The ambition is the same: to inspire our customers and to always deliver."

The partnership was facilitated by the sports business agency SPORTFIVE.
