Due to the international break, there are currently just over half a dozen players present at first-team training, but that certainly doesn't mean the sessions have lost anything in intensity. There's been a real individual focus, and with the arrival of magnificent spring weather, it's no surprise that the fun factor has been high. There's also some very encouraging news on the injury front.

Mario Götze (fractured rib), Paco Alcácer (pulled thigh muscle) and Axel Witsel (torn hip flexor muscle) were all able to go through training on Friday with no complaints. The management team are hopeful that all three will be able to be reintegrated in team training within the next few days, with a view to then being able to participate fully in the upcoming Bundesliga match against VfL Wolfsburg.
