Borussia Dortmund has been preparing for the upcoming start to the second half of the season for a week. On day seven, two training sessions were again on the schedule. Tomorrow is double match day: BVB meets Feyenoord Rotterdam at midday, with another game following at 5 pm. against 1. FSV Mainz 05. BVB-TV will broadcast both warm up games live from the Marbella Football Centre.

The training camp is nearing an end: on the last day of full training in Marbella, Lucien Favre had placed offensive play and shooting practice on the training schedule. However, the main focus was on preparing for the two friendly matches against Feyenoord and Mainz on Saturday. After the goalless draw against Standard Liège on Tuesday, BVB wants to end their preparation time in Spain with a sense of achievement. To strengthen the squad for the double match day, Joseph Boyamba (U23), Ramzi Ferjani and Alaa Bakir (both U19) arrived on Thursday afternoon and were already on the pitch for the second session of the day.

There was keen interest in the afternoon when the 1.94metre tall Erling Braut Haaland (as they call him by his full name in his home country Norway), entered the terrace of the team hotel. The 19-year-old faced the journalists' questions in a media round, - with a positive first impression, down-to-earthness and anticipation of his first minutes in the Black & Yellows shirt. The Norwegian was able to play a full part in both training sessions today.

Question: Erling, you've been at BVB for a week now, what is your impression of your new teammates and coaching staff?

Erling Haaland: "The week was good! The boys and the staff are all nice. It was a good first week!"

Q: The Bundesliga starts in a week, when will you be ready?

Haaland: "First I’m only thinking about tomorrow. I hope that I can then play and I'm looking forward to it."

Q: What do you know about SIGNAL IDUNA PARK?

Haaland: "It's a fantastic stadium. I can't wait to play there!"

Q: How is your father helping you here?

Haaland: "He helps me a lot. He knows the game and has a lot of experience. He knows how things work. It is good to have him by my side."
