Three Borussia Dortmund players were in action on Wednesday evening, the final day of the November international break.

BVB team-mates Thorgan Hazard and Thomas Delaney – who were substituted off in the 77th and 70th minutes respectively – went head to head as Belgium beat Denmark 4-2. Axel Witsel and Thomas Meunier missed the match through suspension after picking up yellow cards against England. The victory secured the Red Devils top spot in the group and a place in the Nations League finals in the autumn of 2021.

Meanwhile, England beat Iceland 4-0 in the other game in that group. Jadon Sancho came off the bench in the 76th minute and set up the third goal only three minutes later. Jude Bellingham was an unused substitute.

Erling Haaland tops the goalscoring charts for the UEFA Nations League group stages. The Borussia Dortmund striker scored six times in four games for the Norwegian national team. (cr)
