Sebastien Haller's comeback overshadowed the 5-1 friendly victory against Fortuna Düsseldorf. BVB coach Edin Terzic, Gio Reyna and Haller himself spoke after the match.

BVB coach Edin Terzic: "We haven't played football together in this form for a very long time now. Ultimately, it was very clear-cut; however, not everything was good. But we liked the reaction. We've focused on many areas in the past few days. We saw many of these things today. Even though we lost possession of the ball a lot unnecessarily and didn't close down one or two spaces, the reaction afterwards was really good.

It was a very special moment for Seb and his family, but for us too. It was the first time that he was wearing a Borussia Dortmund shirt rather than a training top. We're proud that he has taken this path and that we could experience this today. We had a chat this morning and decided that he'd be okay for 15 minutes. We hope that he doesn't show any negative reactions to the game but rather than we can build on it."

Sebastien Haller: "It was an amazing moment on the pitch. I received lots of applause and a lot of messages, I spoke with my team-mates and the opposition. The support contributes to the performance. I didn't want to give the coach many options; I wanted to be there from the first match onwards. We've spoken about what the best solution would be to get some minutes under my belt. I finally wore the BVB shirt for the first time after six months. I was really delighted to play because I couldn't do so immediately after my transfer. Playing is a much better feeling than training and running through the woods. I've missed this feeling. I would like to stay fit until the end of the season and play as many minutes as I can. Perhaps I might even get some more minutes in the next friendly."

Gio Reyna: "Sebastien's comeback was amazing. We're delighted that he's back. He's such a good guy; he works hard. You immediately see his quality on pitch. He brings something new to our game."
