"Two weeks ago, we had to criticise the team heavily. Today they can be really praised," said Sebastian Kehl after the match in Brugge. Lucien Favre, Thorgan Hazard and Manuel Akanji also spoke. Here are the reactions to the game:

Lucien Favre: "We started very well, showing right from the start that we wanted to win. It only ever works when you work together. It's the whole team that has to defend. We're doing that well right now. Axel Witsel played alongside Manuel Akanji today. That was the best solution. Axel played very cleverly. I am very pleased with his performance. In Rome, we made too many mistakes – that is in the past. Now we are top of the group."

Sebastian Kehl: "Two weeks ago, we had to criticise the team heavily. Today, they can be really praised. We produced a very, very good performance – especially in the first half. We were very comfortable and kept another clean sheet. That gives us a lot of stability, and we are relieved to be top of the group. We played very well without the ball again today. Pressing high is crucial, then the early goals do us good too. You can see our class then, but at the end of the day, it is a performance by the entire squad. Our two central defenders had an excellent game. Today you can praise a lot of players. That will help us, also with an eye towards Saturday."

Manuel Akanji: "Up front, we always have the quality to score goals. Fortunately, we did that very early today. We took our chances and so I think it was clear pretty at an early stage what the result was going to be. The second half wasn't as spectacular, but it was very important for us to keep a clean sheet. In the Champions League, you can never play at 70 or 80 percent. You must always give it your all. We were good in the duels, showed good build-up play and so found the gaps. I have to compliment the team – we did that very well."

Thorgan Hazard: "The first half was great. I think we had a lot of chances and then scored three goals. We could have played a bit better in the second half. Nevertheless, we won 3-0 and are now the top of the group. That is how we must continue. As a Belgian, of course it is nice to score a goal here in Belgium. I'm really glad it went well today. At the other end, we all defend together. I think our back four and the goalkeeper were also very, very good today. Mats was injured, but Axel and Manu did brilliantly together. Everyone has to help, you do it for the team – and the coach loves it."
