Here are the reactions of Sebastian Kehl (head of the licensed player division) and club captain Marco Reus to the Champions League draw.

Sebastian Kehl on Manchester City:
''I consider Manchester City to be the big favourites among the eight remaining teams. It's going to be a tough one. Both matches will be really difficult, Man City are in fantastic shape at the moment. Nonetheless, we're looking forward to what should be two very interesting games in April and we hope that we just might be able to spring a small surprise.''

…former BVB star Ilkay Gündogan:
''Ilkay's development in the past few years has been fantastic. He's become an important figure at Man City and has had a big role to play in their success. Their team is packed full of top-class stars, but the reunion with Ilkay will be special.''

… City coach Pep Guardiola:
''Pep Guardiola has a clear footballing philosophy: very ball-oriented, lots of possession, high pressing and a bold approach. They dominate opponents with their supremacy and pose a constant goal threat. They are the runaway leaders in England and have won a lot of titles in the last few years. It's a tough draw for us, but we're looking forward to going up against this team.''

Marco Reus: ''First of all I'm looking forward to the reunion with Ilkay. We played together for a number of years at BVB. His progression at Manchester City has been superb. It's a hard draw. City are playing very well in the Premier League and laid down a real marker against Gladbach. That said, I don't think we should let our heads drop. Time and time again we've shown what we're capable of in the Champions League. They will be two tough matches, but we're looking forward to them.'' (cr)
