The BVB Christmas carol singing is back: 15 December is when fans will come together to loudly and cheerfully sing Christmas songs at Signal Iduna Park for the third time.

Signal Iduna Park will be transformed into a festive hotspot once again on 15 December 2019: "Dortmund singt Weihnachtslieder" (Dortmund sings Christmas songs) is the name of the event which has enjoyed significant popularity over the past two years and is now returning for a third time, with the BVB players and mascot EMMA set to be joined by several noteworthy musicians and thousands of fans for a special festive occasion.

The event on the third Sunday of Advent starts at 16:30 CET. The musical programme will consist of a mixture of more than 20 traditional and modern Christmas songs. Entirely in keeping with the length of a football match, the event will consist of two halves of 45 minutes with a break of almost 20 minutes. The event, to which children and families in particular are invited, will be presented throughout by Heiko Wasser and Norbert Dickel. As has been the case in previous years, children up to the age of nine will get in for free.

The sale of tickets for the event will commence on 7 October via the BVB advance sales points, the Ruhr Nachrichten service centre and the BVB homepage.
