Borussia Dortmund will be without Sven Bender and Marco Reus for up to one and two weeks, respectively. The midfielders suffered thigh injuries in the Bundesliga game against SV Werder Bremen on Saturday.

Following a scan by BVB team doctor Markus Braun at Dortmund’s Knappschaft Hospital on Sunday, Sven Bender was diagnosed with a strained right thigh muscle, ruling him out for up to one week.

Marco Reus is expected to be sidelined for two weeks after tearing muscle fibres in his right thigh on Saturday, according to Dr. Braun.
