After beating Hertha BSC 5-2, Julian Brandt and Axel Witsel bemoaned the "overly complicated approach" in the first half. Lucien Favre reiterated that there were "no easy games". And Erling Haaland spoke more about Youssoufa Moukoko than the four goals he scored... Here are the match reactions.
Lucien Favre: "Erling scored four goals. That'll do for today. That's fantastic. But it was very difficult for us in the first half. When you look at Hertha's results, they only lost 4-3 in Munich and drew 1-1 against a Wolfsburg side that are still unbeaten. So it wasn't a surprise for us that we needed to fight today. We played well in the second half. It was a good cross from Emre Can prior to the 1-0. We stayed positive; that was important. There are no easy games."
Julian Brandt: "We'd set our sights extremely high for this game. Unfortunately, it all got a little bit hectic in the opening 30 minutes. We made life slightly difficult for ourselves and gave the ball away a lot. I had the feeling that we wanted too much. But we managed to catch ourselves and got stuck in for the final 15 minutes of the first half. We continued that way in the second half. It was hugely successful for us."
Erling Haaland: "The first goal was very good, but so was the second one. Everyone thought it was offside, but it wasn't. I'm really happy for Youssoufa. I'd really like to play with him sometime. I think he's one of the biggest talents in the world right now. He's only 16 years and one day old and he's playing fantastically. He has a great career ahead of him."
Axel Witsel: "The first half was not our best half. It was a little bit too complicated, and we gave away ball possession too easily. We did well to get back into the game in the second half and in the end we deserved to win. Erling has incredible instincts. Sometimes we don't see him on the pitch for 30 minutes, but then he appears and scores lots of goals from a few chances. He did that again today and scored four goals. We're very happy that he plays for us."
