At the same time as BVB's Champions League match against PSV Eindhoven, the Black & Yellow eFootballers had their first perfect evening in the Virtual Bundesliga (VBL) on Tuesday, claiming wins against Magdeburg, Osnabrück and Köln.

After suffering an unlucky defeat against Fortuna Düsseldorf the day before, the team led by Stefan Gajduk and Alexander Steinmetz had the opportunity to make amends the very next day. In order to preserve their chances of the play-offs (eighth place), they had to take something tangible from matchdays 30, 31 and 32.

The Borussia duo decided the opening clash against Magdeburg in the final game. After a 3-1 victory by the duo of Kösecik and Feldman in the 2vs2 and a draw in Roee Feldman's singles match, Belgian Bradley Destoop decided the outcome of the fixture – he won 5-2 and secured BVB their first three points of the evening.

The following fixture against Osnabrück was won by the Black & Yellows after just two games (8-1, 1-0), which allowed BVB to close the gap to the play-off places.

The evening was rounded off with a clash with table neighbours 1. FC Köln. The Rhinelanders made the perfect start and comfortably beat the BVB duo of Feldman and Kösecik by a 7-0 scoreline. But Bradley Destoop (4-3) and Roee Feldman (7-3) held their nerve and ensured the first perfect evening of the current VBL season – the result saw BVB climb up to eighth place for the first time this season with 32 rounds of matches played.

This Tuesday (27/02) will see 20 fans travel with the team in the team bus to an offline event in Cologne, where Holstein Kiel will be the opponents on Matchday 33. In the following week (5 March), the team will battle current leaders Werder Bremen for three points at the end of the main round. As usual, you can follow the matches live on Twitch.
