Borussia's U19s and U17s will complete their pre-season programme before the Bundesliga season by playing friendlies against top-class opponents. On Sunday 13 September, the U19s will play the first team of the fourth division side Victoria Clarholz.

"We are approaching this match like a league game," says head coach Mike Tullberg. The situation in terms of the available players has improved significantly from the previous week. Only Ansgar Knauf and Julius Rauch are expected to miss out. Youssoufa Moukoko is expected to be in the starting line-up after his debut for the U20s national team. Tullberg's team will start the Bundesliga on Sunday 20 September with an away match against SC Preußen Münster.

A week before the away game at Borussia Mönchengladbach, Sebastian Geppert's U17s will see where they stand in a game with TSG Hoffenheim 1899, one of the favourites for the Bundesliga South/Southwest. The match will be played on Saturday 12 September at 14:00 CET in Westerburg. (wiwi)
