The top match in the A-Junior Bundesliga sees the Borussia Dortmund U19s take on their 1. FC Cologne counterparts in Brackel on Saturday (11:00 CET). The teams already occupy first and second spots in the table ahead of their Matchday 2 meeting.

The Black & Yellows opened their campaign with a 9-2 victory away to Wuppertaler SV last weekend, while the Billy Goats recorded a dominant 5-0 win of their own against Preußen Münster.

"I'm expecting a great game – we're all looking forward to it," said BVB boss Michael Skibbe. The Cologne squad contains five players who beat BVB 3-2 in the final of the German B-Junior Championship in June. "Our former U17 players will have the opportunity to go one better than they did in the final of the German Championship," said Skibbe as he talked up his team's ambitions.

The U17s, meanwhile, will travel away to Preußen Münster. "We're the favourites and we want to go into the derby with Schalke 04 on Wednesday with six points on the board," declared coach Sebastian Geppert as he cast a glance ahead to the clash with the Royal Blues in Brackel. (wiwi)
