Marco Reus and Thomas Delaney aside, there was a full complement of players on board as Borussia Dortmund headed for Paris Le Bourget Airport in the north-east of the French capital. They go in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 tie against Paris St. Germain tomorrow night aiming to defend their 2-1 lead from the first leg.

Head coach Lucien Favre and Sebastian Kehl, the head of the licensed player division, shared their thoughts on the scenario heading into the return leg.

Lucien Favre: "We want and need to produce a big performance here if we want to qualify. We'll need to have a very good game and to play with intelligence and patience. We'll have to perform very well defensively and we'll need to go forward too – so we need to play, in inverted commas, an entirely normal game. We want to try to destabilise our opponent. We can't simply limit ourselves to defending."

Sebastian Kehl: "We put in a very, very good performance at home but only, in inverted commas, won 2-1. Nonetheless, it sent a signal. We demonstrated that we can defend very well against PSG and that we can still get opportunities going forward too. With that in mind, we're hopeful that we can reproduce similar form tomorrow. We know that it'll be a different game. PSG will definitely perform more strongly, especially being at home. We believe ourselves to be well-equipped for this match and are full of hope that we can through to the next round." (br)
